I think you’re mistaken, though, in assuming the author of this piece does.

I think, rather, he refers to them as “progressives”.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the southern avenger is mad at all the immigrants and blacks who thwarted the liberal activist courts attempt to impose gay marriage.

Again, i may be wrong, but it seems the author is one of them “log cabin” republicans.

Another fine piece.  You point out one of the glaring hypocracies of the left.  Liberals would be well advised to also realize that you can not have both open borders and environmentalism, you can not have both multi-culturalism and feminism, and you can not have both social engineering and civil liberties.

For the record, I oppose “gay marriage.” Homosexual marriage is ridiculous,
largely because of the innate differences between males and
females. But the matter is negligible compared to all the

Let’s massively increase non-European immigration, lets bring

My guess is that such a poll would show:

1- WHITE criminals and gangsters are far richer

2- WHITE criminals and gangsters usually wear suits and have chauffeurs

3-WHITE criminals and gangsters, being of the Wall street elitist crowd, would probably be in favour of gay marriage.

Once we get all these minorities college degrees thanks to financial aid, they, too, will become radical lefties. And trust me, “educated” immigrants are just as far left, if not more, than “educated” non-immigrants.

But in reality, the end of America as a land of opportunity will take care of immigration. Old age will take care of the last white conservatives. White Americans tend to become homosexual far more than any one else. So the inevatable disappearance of whites will turn homosexuality again into a minority activty.

It would be interesting to see what percentage of blacks and Mexicans voted for Prop.4 (the parental notification measure). It lost by a narrow margin.

Vero. Asians went 57-43 yes, latinos were 53-47, blacks 51-47 and whites went 45-55 on Prop 4. So it was defeated by whites.

What’s really depressing about Mr Hunter’s voting figures is that forty seven per cent (I had to read that twice) of Hispanics voted in favor of this monstrous measure.  The blame for that tragedy can be placed squarely in the lap of the Catholic Church, which for nearly two generations has essentially abandoned its moral teachings - and is itself, because of that dereliction of duty, suffering from an infestation of homosexuals into its priesthood unprecedented in its 2,000 year old history.

Finally one does wish that at least the writers on this site would refrain from using that tiresome term “gay” to describe the unspeakable vice of buggery.  As Joe Sobran famously noted: “There is nothing gay about one man sticking his generative organ into another man’s execratory one.” The fact that so many otherwise intelligent people have adopted that word speaks volumes about the mess we are in.

“Progressive” derives from “progress,” which in turn goes back to the Latin verb (3rd conj., deponent) progradior, which means “[to] go forward.” Now, “forward” admits of three construals, two of which generate questions:

A. Toward a goal. (Why that goal?)

B. Away from a point of departure. (Why depart?)

C. Continued motion in direction wherein one’s nose is pointing.

This is exactly why I don’t fear the immigration wave.  Yes its culturally different from WASP America, but that is a good thing. 

These hordes of Hispanics are Catholic with deep reverence for the Blessed Sacrament.  While the WASPs are caught up in their own Messianism, they forget that the Hispanic world grew out of Western Civilization too, and they might be our last hope in defending against the Post Christian age.

This is an ever bigger problem in European countries such as the Netherlands. The liberals are going to have problems pushing their gay marriage idea with an increasingly muslim population. It clearly will be no contest, the effete liberals stand zero chance against anyone other than perhaps white conservatives.

Nearly 54% of the Catholic vote went to Barack Obama, who supports homosexual proclivities.

Any leftist who isn’t also a Eurocentrist is engaged in an exercise of self-deception.  This is even more obviously true in Europe, with their Islamist invaders.  In any event, my wife and I, as a pair of California voters (both part of the approximately one in five who voted “Yes” on 8, but against McCain/Palin), have never in all our lives been more thankful for the 15th Amendment.  Although I’m sure we’ll get over that.
