These figures imply that 85% of Americans think Jews have either “just enough” or “not enough” power in the United States.  Abe Foxman & Co. should be elated, but instead they insist on hand-wringing and fear mongering!

Abe raises 60 million a year by scaring poor old Jewish ladies that the cossaks are coming to rape and pillage the stetl.

Anti-Semite is a very inaccurate euphamism for anti-Jew.  A Palestinian Arab is definitely a Semite; whether an Ashkenazic Jew is is an interesting question.  I’m not against either per se, but Likudniks give me the botts.  Senator Lieberman of Connecticut, for example, is of the Likudnik persuasion.  The Israeli newspaper Haaretz isn’t, and doubtless Professor Dershowitz would call it constructively anti-Semitic and its staff self-hating Jews.

The real question isn’t about anti-Semitism, it’s about imperial Zionism and The Likud bunker mentality it generates.  Once we get that straight, the conversation may continue.

I was an adult before I was told by Jewish friends that as a Protestant Christian I believed that they and the entire Jewish race had killed Jesus Christ.  I tried to explain to my Jewish friends that I didn’t think they had killed Jesus, at least not qua Jews, nor did I think that the ancient Hebrews had killed Jesus.  I did note that Christian theology taught that all sinners, which includes all humans, had been responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus, but they couldn’t or wouldn’t understand what I was saying. 

In the end I had to conclude that this widespread canard, that white gentile Christians believe “the Jews” killed Christ is actually another example of double talk.  In other words, some Jews use this argument to accuse all white gentile Christians of being guilty of what they consider the greatest sin of all, “anti-Semitism.” The lesson should be clear, that those who accuse others of believing in or practicing collective guilt shouldn’t themselves practice the thing they preach against.

Americans wouldn’t tolerate terrorism at home
A Mexican suicide bomber walked into a pizza restaurant in a Santa Fe, N.M., mall this morning, killing at least 15 people, mostly children. Up to a hundred others were wounded.

The bodies of two young boys who had been playing hooky from school were found in a cave outside of Phoenix. They had been beaten to death, and their bodies mutilated. Authorities are looking for Navajo separatists they believe are responsible.

Militia in Tijuana, Mexico, fired rocket grenades into downtown San Diego, killing 20, wounding 50 and, once again, snarling morning traffic.

It’s more than a little uncomfortable ascribing such barbarous crimes to completely innocent folk. Still, imagine if such things happened here instead of in Israel on an almost daily basis. How do you think the United States would respond?

Indeed, the comparison is less outlandish than you might think. After all, the United States took land from American Indians. It took land from Mexicans. In a sense, “we” even took land from the British. And, no matter how you slice it, America’s claim to Texas and the Southwest is certainly far less morally compelling than Israel’s is to its land.

When the European Jews not already living in Palestine arrived there after World War II, the area was largely empty. What is today called Jordan was the historic home of many “Palestinians.” And, after all, even the most militant Muslim must concede that the Bible places the land as the historic home of the Jews.

Meanwhile, when European colonists came to North America, they had no historical claim to the land whatsoever and, besides, it was occupied.

Does any one else get tired of this routine, indulged in by all the Politically Correct race hustlers and particularly by Jewish fanatics?  The routine for those gentle readers who haven’t caught on is the line that folks of white gentile Christian ancestry are at one and the same time knuckle dragging thugs about to commit the next pogrom, but at the same time able to be influenced by thought control brought about by appeals to the hyper sensitive conscience of the very same alleged knuckle dragging thugs! 

Obviously, in a society of even a large minority of “anti-Semites”, claims that “anti-Semitism” is wrong would avail nothing.  For example, do claims that Arab Muslims hate Jews and the Jewish state of Israel change the policies of said Arab states or the attitudes of the subjects of those Arab Muslim states?  The answer is of course not, and thus the desire among the more fanatical supporters of Israel that the USA invade and reconstruct those states and the attitudes of their subjects.  But in the good old Western world, the USA, Canada and Europe, creatures such as Abe Foxman and his ilk claim against all evidence that there exists some irrational hatred and persecution of Jews and at the same time use false accusations of “anti-Semitism” and “racism” to destroy individuals and to discredit groups.  If there was any substantial irrational hatred of Jews such smear tactics by Foxman and his ilk wouldn’t work and the intimidation tactics his group and groups like AIPAC employ would also avail nothing. 

Creatures like Foxman shouldn’t be allowed have it both ways, that they face a hostile white Christian gentile population while at the same time lording it over said people and destroying some of them at will for the sin of showing any resistance to his group’s demands.

There is a larger point here that most are touching on but not hitting head on. The point is that a major function of what has become Political Correctness is really to mask a form of aggression, particularly ethnic, religious and racial aggression that would otherwise be unacceptable, either for reasons of PC or from an older moral system that disapproved of what is in fact a form of amoral tribalism. 

What most don’t realize is that the false claims made by the likes of Foxman & Company are intended to mask what is in reality a form of ethnic, religious and racial aggression.  It is a politically correct but hypocritical method of advancing a program of ethnic tribalism, usually in an immoral or amoral fashion.  Do Foxman & Company ever take polls on how many Jews or blacks or Mexicans hold views that are prejudiced or even downright hateful of white gentile Christians?  How about the negative attitudes homosexuals have in regard to heterosexuals?  Under the insane “standards” held by Foxman & Company, only people of European Christian ancestry are guilty of thought crimes.

What is actually going on is a one-sided attack, devoid of perspective, based on utopian premises that are only applied against one group.  If the same false “standards” were applied to the politically correct aggressors, including Foxman & Company, they would fail big time.

An old gramophone plays its monotonous dirge over and over again , until one only hears the scratches. The tribe of the Hebrew , a perfect example of a race blended with religion, has exercised limitless power and influence right through the ages. Empires have come and gone, nations have come and dissapeared, peoples have emerged and submerged for ever, states have come and vanish into the powder of history. However, the power of the Hewbew tribe has endured and endured and endured, not only survive, but exert its tribal supremacy and power wherever they have settled and with whichever people or nation they have latched on. Like Nietche said, it is unprofitable to be antisemite or dwell on the subjects of the tribe.

Name me one nation, one sovereign nation ( if there is such a thing these days) in the western world which does not do the bidding of the hebrew tribe,which does not creak under the tribe’s trampling wheel, and I’ll bow my head to the revelator.
Let me preempt any pre assumptions , the tribe does his business, and does it remarkably well for their own superiority and interests, good for them. There is no envy, nor jealousy, one can not fault anyone acting to his true nature, the fault, if any, does not lie with the tribe, but with those who allow themselves to be brought under their vassalage.

The lesson that should be clear is twofold: First, that Jews create or magnify enemies (the Other) in order to strengthen their own identity (Us). And second, that Jews employ strategies like this for the purpose of gaining dominance.

anti semetism isn’t a big issue in todays world.  jews are by and large not discriminated against in any overt way and are among the wealthiest and most powerful people in american society.  Does anyone consider anti semetism to be a page one issue?  why?

There is no need to be so appologetic to the Jews for those “35 million” of Americans (count me in)who do not trust them. It is not enough for them to have all the power in this Country, they demand to be loved.

Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to stop spitting on them

A few weeks ago, a senior Greek Orthodox clergyman in Israel attended a meeting at a government office in Jerusalem’s Givat Shaul quarter. When he returned to his car, an elderly man wearing a skullcap came and knocked on the window. When the clergyman let the window down, the passerby spat in his face.  Advertisement

The clergyman prefered not to lodge a complaint with the police and told an acquaintance that he was used to being spat at by Jews. Many Jerusalem clergy have been subjected to abuse of this kind. For the most part, they ignore it but sometimes they cannot.

On Sunday, a fracas developed when a yeshiva student spat at the cross being carried by the Armenian Archbishop during a procession near the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City. The archbishop’s 17th-century cross was broken during the brawl and he slapped the yeshiva student.

Both were questioned by police and the yeshiva student will be brought to trial. The Jerusalem District Court has meanwhile banned the student from approaching the Old City for 75 days.

But the Armenians are far from satisfied by the police action and say this sort of thing has been going on for years. Archbishop Nourhan Manougian says he expects the education minister to say something.

“When there is an attack against Jews anywhere in the world, the Israeli government is incensed, so why when our religion and pride are hurt, don’t they take harsher measures?” he asks.

According to Daniel Rossing, former adviser to the Religious Affairs Ministry on Christian affairs and director of a Jerusalem center for Christian-Jewish dialogue, there has been an increase in the number of such incidents recently, “as part of a general atmosphere of lack of tolerance in the country.”

Rossing says there are certain common characeristics from the point of view of time and location to the incidents. He points to the fact that there are more incidents in areas where Jews and Christians mingle, such as the Jewish and Armenian quarters of the Old City and the Jaffa Gate.

There are an increased number at certain times of year, such as during the Purim holiday."I know Christians who lock themselves indoors during the entire Purim holiday,” he says.

Former adviser to the mayor on Christian affairs, Shmuel Evyatar, describes the situation as “a huge disgrace.” He says most of the instigators are yeshiva students studying in the Old City who view the Christian religion with disdain.

“I’m sure the phenomenon would end as soon as rabbis and well-known educators denounce it. In practice, rabbis of yeshivas ignore or even encourage it,” he says.

Evyatar says he himself was spat at while walking with a Serbian bishop in the Jewish quarter, near his home. “A group of yeshiva students spat at us and their teacher just stood by and watched.”

Jerusalem municipal officials said they are aware of the problem but it has to be dealt with by the police. Shmuel Ben-Ruby, the police spokesman, said they had only two complaints from Christians in the past two years. He said that, in both cases, the culprits were caught and punished.

He said the police deploy an inordinately high number of patrols and special technology in the OLD City and its surroundings in an attempt to keep order.

Paul Gottfried on the Right, and William D Rubinstein on the Left, are two of the wisest Jews in Christendom.

I suspect Mexican militia might start firing rockets into the U.S. if we built walls around their country or cut it into pieces bordered by American-only highways.

Well… that won’t last forever. Accusations of racism and anti-Semitism have lost much of their power to intimidate; growing numbers of Americans are aware of the scam behind bigotry charges. Groups like the ADL and the SPLC play this con incessantly, then rattle their dotty donors with scare stories about phantom Brown Shirts, and puff them up with perverse flattery detailing how their gentile foes envy them and are fascinated by their… their… nose jobs? Perhaps the fact that most white gentiles AREN’T obsessed with them is the problem. How dare us! Don’t we know we’re in the presence of… of… guys wearing beanies? Asian Americans have done awfully well in this country, too. How come white people don’t drool over them? Well… maybe in the Asian press, we do.

Ah… vanity.

As for Jonah Goldberg – this guy has been savaging readers with his stupidity for some time. Can someone notify him that the issue isn’t about a “morally compelling” right to jam a flag in a chunk of land? It’s about NOT treating other people in the neighborhood like shower-wall scum.

At least, if you do, don’t expect those other people to love you for it. And grant the rest of us a favor: When it all blows up in your face - no whining.

And one final request, as a white gentile, to all my “Others”: Don’t tell me what I think! You’re not mind readers! If you were, you’d be pretty angry right now! If you want to know my opinions – about anything – ask me. I’m one of the few who’ll give you an honest response. But don’t presume to know my mind!

The author who claims that the U.S. does not have a legal claim to the American Southwest, etc, has a good point.  The big difference as I see it is that Native Americans and Hispanics are allowed to vote, hold political office, and live in peace and prosperity enjoying all the rights of American Citizenship.  When Christians and Arabs have those same rights in Israel then all criticism of that country will be silent.  The current state is maintained so that people like Foxman can go around claiming that people find Jews too loyal to Israel which somehow equates to anti-semitism.  I am also surprised that the numbers are as low as they are.  Why don’t 100% of the people know this?  What do people expect from the ADL a group that started out as a terrorist organization?  They are the role model for terrorists getting what they want today.

Bush (whose inspiration he’s said is Natan Sharansky) and the Israeli Lobby---along with the American Jewish Community that funds it---have done more to increase “anti-semitism” in the US then anything the Jews themselves have done. 

Bush2 has been doing the same thing for Christianity as the Zionists have done for the rest of the Jews, and fed the “culture war” the divides the Red and Blue States in the elections. Bush, by identifying and soliciting the support of the “Christian Right”, has set their agenda back---something that many of them are beginning to realize.

Israel’s apologists, and the Likkud Party has done the same for American Jews.

I wonder if this is sort of some crazy plan to divide and conquer the American Conservative movement?

It’s the old “Big Jew” versus “Little Jew” phenomenea---the “Big Jews” have the money and they set the agenda, and the rest of the Jewish Community is frightened into going along with it by the sort of “anti-semitism” scare stories that Gottfried discusses.

Could it be some devilish plan to divide the electorate, and keep the plutocracy in power?

How many times have we heard a person preface remarks critical of Israel with the words, “I’m not anti-Semitic, but...”?  Why does anyone feel such a caveat necessary?  It is because, as with toilet training, we have internalized the guilt laid upon us by the Ashkenazy, the false Jews.  The English of the 18th Century had different views of Sephardic and Ashkenazy Jews.  The former, such as the famous boxer Daniel Mendoza (the father of scientific boxing), were respected; the latter were despised as dirty and dishonest.  Would that we had brought our prejudices with us when we came from Europe to the New World and that we had retained them.  American Ashkenazy Jews got us into the Great War, World War II and now Iraq.  Do they care that they have Christian American blood on their hands?  Not a bit.

It is a classic anti-Semitic canard

In the dozen or so occasions I’ve listened to Abe Foxman on TV he’s never failed to say the above. It seems “classic anti-Semitic canard” includes every possible argument against Foxman’s own. How convenient that must be for him.

Much nonsense has been written about Jews, but Freud did ask that Jews admit their role in the God of the goyim.  From a book I wrote:

Sigmund Freud prior to the second war in Europe wrote Moses and Monotheism.  Reviewing the book in the New Republic, Karl Menninger, the psychiatrist from Kansas, endorsed the thesis of Freud that Jews with “their stiff-necked obduracy” have continued to deny their murder of Moses, their founding father born an Egyptian.  The resurrected Moses, the Jew Jesus Christ, with his willful death and sacrifice had tried to atone for the original sin of the Jews in their killing of Moses.  If not actually, the murder transpired in their desires as Freud was willing to believe.  As Freud postulated, for many goyim their hatred of Judaism has substituted for their hatred of Christianity.  As with Moses, Jews had denied they killed the Jew, Jesus Christ.  This continued refusal by legalistic sophistry by Jews to admit complicity in the crucifixion has enabled them to blame the Romans for the ritual murder while denying responsibility for the killing of the God of the Christians.

The long held belief by Jews that they are different from their “hosts” has led to their being detested by their countrymen.  In Freud’s view Jews had defied oppression, and even the most cruel persecutions had not succeeded in exterminating them.  The learned man believed Jews when permitted could hold their own in practical life and make valuable contributions to the enveloping civilization.  These words were written before the invasion of Poland by Germany and the Soviet Union.  Within six years European Jewry was butchered, but by then Sigmund Freud had died in exile in England.  Freud though he had become a totem for Jews of the West did remain a “Viennese provincial” as Doctor Menninger termed him.  It would have assaulted his sense of race pride that Jews who had gone to China to live and work had forgotten their racial and cultural heritage over the years.  They had become Chinese.  Interestingly, this was the only civilization which managed to submerge Jews.  Jews have never forgiven the Chinese for this.

All this race-baiting simply confirms the more egalitarian qualities of fair Italia....a nation that proves a thousand years of anarchy works. As reported in an article on the European Common Market printed in the Sunday N.Y. Times magazine several years ago....when asked how wonderful it must be to have Italians and Germans and Brits all getting along in a unified economy, the Italian replied: “Whaddya crazy,.... mama mia gabidosta.... but in Italy, we hate the people in the next village”.

These PC Commentators and Race Baiting Chicken Littles have simply found themselves in a place conducive to raking in mondo cash because hate and tribalism are the Homo sapiens americanum’s preferred pastime, second only to professional drinking, rough sex and our dewey-eyed devotion to the depredations of the State Lottery.

If we were ever prohibited from tribal hate, we’d start gnawing on our own appendages.

Those witless American Shills for the Permanent War Industry who assert that others are not “Reliable on Israel” should spend 20 minutes and read an issue of Harretz, the Israeli publication that, in comparison makes the New York Times look like an official JDL Promotional Brochure written for those possessing a 6th grade educational attainment level. It is why they like David Brooks, he speaks fluent 6th gradese.

I would imagine the Turkish and Egyptian Landlords who held most the land prior to 48 would be a little put out by the assertions that Israel was “empty”.

I suggest that we salt Craigs List and the Hoover/Heritage/ American Enterprise Institutes notice boards with a rumor that there is a new 24 hour Cable News Network in Greenland that pays big money and loves the more inflammatory rhetoric of the typical Neo-Con. We will then be able to have something to counteract our remorse over Polar Bear Extinction by watching the likes of Goldberg...Kristol.....Podheretz......Pipes .....etc etc floating aimlessly about the North Atlantic on quickly melting icebergs. Come to think of it, and at risk of being called an anti-semite...sure , I’m an anti semite, my wife is jewish, I’ve earned it.....maybe that is why God named these Ice chunks “IceBergs”...as the final resting place of the boastful 98lb weakling Hot Air Hebrew School typewriter warrior.

In reality, people aren’t “anti-Semites”, they are “anti-Cultural Marxism”, which, when expressed in regards to anyone or anything that is Jewish, is labeled “anti-Semitic” by either the speak himself, and then Abe Foxman & Co. in reaction, or only Abe Foxman & Co.

I would be interested to know what ol’ Dishonest Abe would do if someone said something not even mildly controversial, such as:

“I am an anti-Semite because I believe Jews make great agents for professional atheletes because Jewish parents teach their kids commerce between the uneducated athelete and the educated franchise owner needs a middleman, and Jewish people are skilled at such jobs because they have been taught at an early age to be good at them.”

Would Abe Foxman denounce that person as an anti-Semite because he claimed to be one, or because of that relatively noncontraversial statement, or IN SPITE of the relatively well-thought-out, noncontroversial statement?

1. Jews are simply the best ethnic group in the USA.  They, unlike my ethnic group, place a high value on education and the arts.  I’ve never met a Jew who couldn’t read and write.  Of the three best works of non-fiction that I’ve read in the past 30 years, aside from religion, two have been written by Jews: Martin van Creveld and David Hackett Fischer.  Find me a Biblical translator better than the Jew Robert Alter, who has the grace to know better than anyone both ancient Hebrew and English letters.  Put down and oppressed, Jews resolved to out-perform gentiles, and the Jews succeeded.  Like Catholics they have a deep respect for law.  Themselves the victims of defamation and injustice, they have taken the lead for human rights and for rule by consent, not coercion.  They have a noble religion, one that they haven’t tried to cram down others’ throats.  In every single area of achievement they have superlative contributions.  AND, they’re smart enough not to march in lockstep.

They also tend to be a shade paranoid.  Judging from some writebackers’ remarks, they have good reason.

2. The history of immigrant groups in the Lincolnlands has been one of each group wishing the USA to side with its home country.  The Irish-Americans (themselves with memories of NINA signs) and German-Americans (denigrated by Franklin as “Palatine Boors”) wished Wilson to intervene in World War I on the side of the Central Powers (and they were indeed rooting for the right side).  Ethnic Catholics in the USA, in the 20s and 30s, joined Clerical Fascists in telling us how wonderful Benito was (and some still telling us). I remember being invited at a St. Patrick’s Day fair to buy a bullet to kill British soldiers in Northern Ireland (I was ashamed that day to be Catholic).  Paisley was a big hit at Bob Jones.  Then there is our home-grown Black Hand, who condemn Neocons (not all Jewish) for demanding that US boys – mostly “Scots Irish”, Dixons, and minorities – die for Israel, and then wish hypocritically for the same USA boys to bleed for Serbia, be it against the Habsburgs, be it against Turks and Albanians.  (I’m not taking sides in this matter, mind you; it’s just that Serbia or Albania isn’t, so to speak, worth an American life or an American dollar.) So do y’all really expect Jews to be any different with respect to a Jewish state? 

Frankly, a far more serious malady than Yankee Zionism is Yankee Francophilia, and even Jefferson was a victim of it, to say nothing of Henry Adams, Henry James, Susan Sontag, the Kennedy dynasty, and the entire Northeast, where Francophila has survived the “freedom fries” frenzy.  Yet the very worst obsequious boot-licking by Gringos is Anglophilia.  Once twisting the Lion’s tail, at least among Jeffersonians, was daily bread.  But since the Republicans came into power, Anglophilia has afflicted us.  Gringoland remains, for all practical purposes, a cultural colony of Perfidious Albion.  Just look at “TV worth watching”.  The Christmas tree, actually German, was imported from England because Prince Albert, a German, imported it there.  Americans, as that great Anglophobe Mencken correctly observed, know more about Westminster Hall and the York Minster than they do about the Mormon Tabernacle or the Mt. Sinai Synagogue in Philadelphia.  Americans know about British 2nd raters like Shaw and Scott, little about 1st rate O’Neal and O’Connor, and nothing about the Himalayan heights of Dante, Goethe, Schiller, Mann, and Rilke.  Whitman, Melville, and Poe became famous among Americans only because they first were famous among Englishmen.  Almost all foreign news comes to Americans via British sources.  Americans swoon at the sound of an Oxbridge accent, immediately assuming someone like Christopher Hitchins is a oracle, and that Joan Collins is upper class top drawer. 

And maybe she is compared to Gringos.  The average Yankee is really nothing but a 5rd rate lower class Englishman of the Puritan and Dissenter persuasion, fit only for emotional binges, aesthetic crudity, lynching bees, and witch-hunts.  One commentator, who is usually and decidedly 1st rate in what he writes, recently has taken to whooping for the House of Lords, a body that fought Catholic Emancipation, the Great Reform Bill, the Abolition of the Slave Trade, the repeal of the Corn Laws, and judged the guilty Hastings innocent. (To be fair, I’m guilty of falling sometimes for Jacobite propaganda.)

From John Hay onward, the US State Department is really nothing but an antechamber of the British Foreign Office.  In two world wars, Lincolnland carried out the wishes of its British Master.  In World War One, a foreign policy blunder that makes Iraq looks like the Congress of Vienna, Wilson utterly obeyed the British.  The US Army in France, put under mediocre French and British commanders, was used largely for cannon fodder. 

So before Gringos take the speck out of the Gringo-Zionist’s eye, Gringos have beams to remove from their own.  (To be fair again, I myself, when not for Dixie, whoop a lot for Middle Europe and Italy.)

It seems to me that the issue in the Near East can be stated without considering Israel at all:  American presence in the Near East simply isn’t needed at if the purpose is to defend Israel.  Israel has the bomb, and that’s all she needs.

That movie tells the story of two Oxford students just after World War 1, and their preparation and performance at the Olympic games in running track.  One of the students is Jewish and the other a Scottish Protestant.  The Jew hires a professional trainer, and devotes a large amount of time to training under professional guidance.  By contrast, the Protestant is more or less gifted with running ability and devotes a large amount of his time to preaching the gospel and using his running skill to “glorify God.”

If you REALLY want to experience the difference between Jews and Protestants, ingratiate yourself into a private conversation with each group.  Can’t do that?  Then you’ll never really KNOW what they talk about amongst themselves.

Really, I have NO IDEA what either Protestants or Jews talk about amongst themselves after supper.  I imagine the Southern Protestant men watch wrestling, NASCAR, or, these days, poker on TV and remain mostly silent.  Outside of the South I imagine the Protestants watch wrestling, NASCAR, or poker as well, but being more talkative - a lot of “jibber-jabber” nonsense, mostly...As for us Southern Catholics, I would say we typically discuss politics, baseball, football, broads (dames, whatever you call ‘em) or alcohol; if the TV is on, it means there’s either a football or baseball game.  As for non-Southern Catholics, much of the same as Southern, except more talk about pro football and broads, less about alcohol.

As for Jewish men sitting around after supper (is that what Jewish people call the evening meal?  I have no idea...), I imagine they talk about politics, Israel, and money; they don’t watch much TV, and if the TV is on, it’s definitely not wrestling, NASCAR, but maybe poker (everybody watches that crap these days, don’t they?), but probably CNN or CSPAN or something relatively “intellectual”.

Hey, Sidster/Andrew Crapper let me help you out.  I have a few Jewish friends and know many other Jews either socially or thru business.  One of my best Jewish friends is a fanatic baseball fan.  He spends much of his downtime on fantasy baseball, and following what players his team will acquire in the off season.  He also has gotten into the poker thing.  He was a history major in college and is now a business executive.  Another Jewish friend of mine also follows all major sports, except hockey.  But this one plays the games as well, as he is more a fitness guy.  This friend, we will call him “Jeff”, went to an Ivy League college, majoring in a business specialty, and then to law school.  I’ve never known him to read a single serious book, outside of work related material (and not much there either).  His other major hobby is chasing women, many of whom he catches and then releases after the initial “hook up.” Another example is “Steve” who majored in music, went to law school and mainly lifts weights, smokes dope and listens to the Grateful Dead.  Steve doesn’t read serious books either, unless we count Howard Zinn in that category.  Another Jewish guy I know, “Howard” is a Harvard trained physician.  Now he does read more serious books, but nothing really good, just your usual best seller list stuff.  He has become more conservative over time, more a main line Republican. “Howard” is a good guy, a straight shooter etc.  But he spends most of his time watching sports on TV, when he isn’t working.  It is either football, college and pro, or baseball or basketball etc.  Howard was eager to get the new giant sized TV sets when they came out, so he went off and bought one and hauled it home without telling the wife.  I got the call to come over and help unload it.  I was afraid we were going to drop the thing and cost Howard a few thousand bucks.  BTW, Howard’s wife wasn’t very happy about it.

I could repeat this description several times over.  In short, the only intellectual Jews I know personally are either paleo-cons or paleo-libertarians.  While I was heading to work one day recently, I heard some older Jewish guys, who all work at law firms, complaining that the only interest the young lawyers have is fantasy sports, football or baseball, and that they young Jews who work for them aren’t interested in politics or higher intellectual pursuits.  So, maybe it’s a generational thing, but it might be more than that.

For myself, an old stock Wasp originally from upstate New York, in the last two months I’ve watched the Ken Burns WW2 documentary, History channel documentaries on WW2, the Civil War and the War of Independence along with some Cspan and other political coverage.  I’ve watched some baseball playoffs, a couple of boring football games and two hockey games.  I’ve watched a few old movies, Hamlet and As You Like It with Laurence Olivier and Othello by Orson Welles and his Citizen Kane and Magnificent Ambersons (the last based on the Booth Tarkington novel).  I have enough information about sports that I can hold my own around the water cooler.  But mostly, when I’m not talking about work or household projects or people I know, I’m talking about politics or history or the media and the degraded nature of contemporary culture.  I know I’m not typical, but I sure do get the sense that your stereotypes are way off the mark.

No doubt such creatures motivated by what… cowardice, greed, Marxism, guilt, self-hate, ethnic animosity…exist.  And would desire nothing more than to silence opposition to whatever program they subscribe to.  Perhaps some would enjoy seeing patriots involved in compromising/illegal schemes.  However, given that none of these posts are proposing illegal actions agents’ provocateurs are largely harmless.  The point of having freedom of expression is to use it.  I don’t think it becoming to throw an assertion that So-and-So is an agent of X, or a Brown or what have you because it stifles discussion.  If we want to lay claim to what is ours we will have to convince many people of the justice of our cause.  Tyrants don’t need to do any convincing; they simply propagandize and round up the dissenters.  That’s why the state has been increasingly heavy-handed as we slide toward whatever dystopia the elites fancy they need to subjugate us.  So I ask you, do you want to trade one tyranny for another or would you rather a return to genuine civility and a limited state?  Don’t get me wrong, childish faith in strangers is dangerous and unnecessary.  But having the intellect and courage to defend your ideas and confront your opponents is required and needs to be practiced.

It seems that some here have forgotten that Jews and British are not mutually exclusive.  Much, not all mind you, of the misery laid on this world has come from individuals who are both British and Jewish.  I am in full agreement about the evils of the British.  Wasn’t it the British who gave us Israel in the first place? I don’t entirely agree with you, Mr. Roberts.  If you compare the republican mercantilists to the democrat (especially southern) free traders, which were more internationalist?  McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt were the first extra-continental imperialists of the republican party, but after TR’s replacement by the first Taft, the banner of internationalism passed to the democrats under Wilson.  During the 20s, 30s, and 40s the republicans were mostly anti-interventionist, anti-imperialist, and relatively libertarian domestically although the northeastern oligarchs were able to push through Wilkie and Dewey as unsuccessful presidential candidates.  The defeat of Taft by Eisenhower in 1952 was ultimately decisive in creating the two-party imperialist rule, we have had down to the present time.

The ones to really look out for are those Albanians, and of course the Macedonians and to be sure, the Belarus, damn they’re pestilential and the Timorese and Navajo peyote traders and them damned Guatemalens and their bright colors and relentless talk about fair trade coffee and I met a woman from Tristan da Cuhna who almost made me wanna be Gay but the absolute worst, I must say are any Jainist Businessman from the Haryana District of India, they have an interesting interpretation of the quid pro quo, more quid than quo, reaching new heights of paranoia with every passing stage of a transaction. Baruch Kappel Goldstein (December 9 or December 12, 1956 – February 25, 1994, Hebrew: ברוך גולדשטיין‎) was an American born Israeli physician who perpetrated the 1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in the city of Hebron, killing 29 Arabs at prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque (within the Cave of the Patriarchs) and wounding another 150 in a shooting attack.

Goldstein was born in Brooklyn, New York to an Orthodox Jewish family. He attended the Yeshivah of Flatbush religious day school and Yeshiva University.[1] He received his medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He belonged to the Jewish Defense League (JDL), a militant Jewish organization founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane. [2]

After emigrating to Israel, he served as a physician in the Israeli Defense Force, first as a conscript, then in the reserve forces. Following the end of his active duty, Goldstein worked as a physician and lived in the Kiryat Arba settlement near Hebron, where he served as an emergency doctor[3].

In the autumn of 1993, in recognition of his medical work, Goldstein received two citations from the Israeli Army"[4]. In January 1994, Major Dr Yitzchak Ashkenazi, the local medical Officer of the district of Judea and Samaria recommended Goldstein for promotion to the rank of Major in the Israeli Army"[5]

On February 25, 1994, that year’s Purim day, Goldstein entered a room in the Cave of the Patriarchs serving as a mosque, wearing “his army uniform with the insignia of rank, creating the image of a reserve officer on active duty” (Shamgar report). He then opened fire, killing 29 Arab Muslims and wounding 150. Mosque guard Mohammad Suleiman Abu Saleh said he thought that Goldstein was trying to kill as many people as possible and described how there were “bodies and blood everywhere.” After being subdued with a fire extinguisher and disarmed, Goldstein was beaten to death.[6]

Goldstein is buried at the Meir Kahane Memorial Park in Kiryat Arba, a Jewish settlement next to Hebron. The park is named in memory of Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of the Israeli far-right political party Kach, a group classified by the United States and Israeli governments as a terrorist organization. Goldstein was a long-time devotee of the rabbi.[17]

The gravesite has become a pilgrimage site for those with extreme right-wing political views; a plaque near the grave reads “To the holy Baruch Goldstein, who gave his life for the Jewish people, the Torah and the nation of Israel.” In 2000, admirers gathered at his grave on Purim dressed as Goldstein, wearing lab coats, false beards, and carrying guns.[18] Between the killings and 2000, an estimated 10,000 people have visited the grave.[19] Members of the Labor Party called for the shrine-like landscaped prayer area near the grave to be removed, and Israeli security officials have expressed concern that the grave will encourage extremists.[20]

Face it, the USofA isn’t what it used to be.  The 19th century ended over 100 years ago - America is no better than France, and I would venture to say that it is WORSE - less cultured, more violent, poorer, etc.

I’m not trying to sound Anti-Semitic here, but didn’t the Jews really kill Jesus, along with everyone else? I mean, it has always seemed to me that Pilate did not want to kill Jesus but did because of all of the Romans, Jews, and everyone else who wanted him dead.

I think the answer to that should have been 100%, unless the question was if ONLY Jews killed Jesus, which, I would agree, would be Anti-Semitic (or a misunderstanding).

Sadly, Foxman may be following in the footsteps of social scientists like Hofstadter et al back in the 1950s who sees a radical rightist under every bed.

Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to stop spitting on them

A few weeks ago, a senior Greek Orthodox clergyman in Israel attended a meeting at a government office in Jerusalem’s Givat Shaul quarter. When he returned to his car, an elderly man wearing a skullcap came and knocked on the window. When the clergyman let the window down, the passerby spat in his face.

The clergyman prefered not to lodge a complaint with the police and told an acquaintance that he was used to being spat at by Jews. Many Jerusalem clergy have been subjected to abuse of this kind. For the most part, they ignore it but sometimes they cannot.

On Sunday, a fracas developed when a yeshiva student spat at the cross being carried by the Armenian Archbishop during a procession near the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City. The archbishop’s 17th-century cross was broken during the brawl and he slapped the yeshiva student.

Both were questioned by police and the yeshiva student will be brought to trial. The Jerusalem District Court has meanwhile banned the student from approaching the Old City for 75 days.

But the Armenians are far from satisfied by the police action and say this sort of thing has been going on for years. Archbishop Nourhan Manougian says he expects the education minister to say something.

“When there is an attack against Jews anywhere in the world, the Israeli government is incensed, so why when our religion and pride are hurt, don’t they take harsher measures?” he asks.

According to Daniel Rossing, former adviser to the Religious Affairs Ministry on Christian affairs and director of a Jerusalem center for Christian-Jewish dialogue, there has been an increase in the number of such incidents recently, “as part of a general atmosphere of lack of tolerance in the country.”

Rossing says there are certain common characeristics from the point of view of time and location to the incidents. He points to the fact that there are more incidents in areas where Jews and Christians mingle, such as the Jewish and Armenian quarters of the Old City and the Jaffa Gate.

There are an increased number at certain times of year, such as during the Purim holiday."I know Christians who lock themselves indoors during the entire Purim holiday,” he says.

Former adviser to the mayor on Christian affairs, Shmuel Evyatar, describes the situation as “a huge disgrace.” He says most of the instigators are yeshiva students studying in the Old City who view the Christian religion with disdain.

“I’m sure the phenomenon would end as soon as rabbis and well-known educators denounce it. In practice, rabbis of yeshivas ignore or even encourage it,” he says.

Evyatar says he himself was spat at while walking with a Serbian bishop in the Jewish quarter, near his home. “A group of yeshiva students spat at us and their teacher just stood by and watched.”

Jerusalem municipal officials said they are aware of the problem but it has to be dealt with by the police. Shmuel Ben-Ruby, the police spokesman, said they had only two complaints from Christians in the past two years. He said that, in both cases, the culprits were caught and punished.

He said the police deploy an inordinately high number of patrols and special technology in the Old City and its surroundings in an attempt to keep order.

The crime that got Jesus crucified was sedition---not against the Roman State, but the Temple system, the economic system that kept the masses in poverty and the power and wealth in the hands of an aristocratic class of rabbis.

Now, if you call that “anti-semitism”, then I guess it is. But that form of Judaism was as oppressive as any of the other pagan systems in power at the time. Least we forget, what we call “Judaism” today is largely invented AFTER the fall of the Jewish State by a band of religious zeolots in Babylon.

But the point is, it wasn’t the “Jewish People” who killed Christ, it was the system in power at the time, of which the majority of Jews were it’s victims. The basis of the Christian roots was an attack on plutocracy, inherited wealth, and the socio-political-economic system that kept it in power.

As a Protestant Christian, I think the frequent hysteria on the part of groups like the ADL over the belief that SOME Jewish religious leaders in the first century A.D. encouraged the Romans to crucify Jesus to be absurd.  What about the thousands of other Jews who loved and followed Jesus or who made up the entire early church before the spread of the gospel to the Gentile nations?  Christianity as we know it would not even exist without the hundreds of years of contribution by the descendants of Jacob (aka Israel) in Old Testament times.

In fact, Jesus’ death on the cross was absolutely pivotal to his spiritual rescue mission on earth, so the religious Jews who called for it actually played a valuable role in the Lord’s plan (despite the malice behind that role).  No biblically knowledgeable Christian today would have a grudge against modern Jews, either atheistic or religious orthodox, for some divinely preordained event a handful of Jews participated in two thousand years ago.

As Jesus himself said while hanging cross, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” (LUKE 23:34).  If Jesus himself could forgive those individuals for their part in his crucifixion while hanging in agony on the cross, what true follower of Jesus could do otherwise?

Abe Foxman, like most politicians, does not want a solution to the problem; he wants the problem. Does anyone suppose Abe Foxman wants to tell his contributors “Please find another charity; the ADL no longer needs so much money”?

A survey of pre-Shoa anti-Semitic writing will reveal that one of the main anti-Semitic complaints was that the Jews constituted a “shadow state” and that their tribal loyalties trumped their loyalty to the state in which they resided.

Foxman may have been imprecise. However, by substituting “tribalism” for “Zionism”, and the concept of the “shadow state” with the reality of the State of Israel, the same “canard” is indeed repeated.

I am real tired of being called an “anti-Semite” by Jews or neocon followers any time I criticize the neocons and the Israeli lobby, and have this word represent something worse than being a Satanist even. Then again, there is that news article I read where an officer in Israel was quoted as saying that Israeli military intelligence actually has a special internet section of people whose job it is, among other things, to post in American and British forums wherever Israel, Palestinians, Irq and Iran are mentioned. Antisemites--people who hate jews for being jewish--like other bigots, are often contemptible people. Bigotry is a contemptible attitude toward people. One may be angry at people,l even as groups, for what they DO, but not for what they ARE!

There is, however, a kind of person more comtemtible than a bigot. A person who exploits the very viciousness of bigotry to falsely accuse others whom he disagrees with, in order to gain an advantage that he could never obtain honestly, through the merits of his argument alone.

If there is a person lower than an antisemite, or a “racist”, it is surely the person--or organization, like the
ADL--who defames decent people unjustly, tarring them with the labels of bigotry because they disagree with their victim’s viewpoints.

First Century Jews in Jerusalem called for the death of Jesus in the same way, and for much the same reason, as Muslims in Khartoum called for the hanging of that poor English school teacher last week.  People who are religious zealots frequently display a very low level of tolerance for what they consider to be blasphemy, not to mention that in each instance politicians found it expedient to whip up a public frenzy simply to advance their own interests.

And yes, whenever contemporary politicians do the same thing, provoking cries for the execution or torture or jailing of some other poor schnook because they find it expedient to do so, they are, in the Biblical sense, guilty of crucifying Jesus all over again, whatever may be their religious persuasion.  ("As you did it to the least of these, my Brethren, you have done it unto me.")

I hate Jews. I think they have way too much power. As a third generation Russian American, I am hostile to their holohoax thumping, and resent the inflated numbers when 20 million Russians died.

My grandfather used to tell me that Jews were vermin - monsters - inhuman - but not because of anything Jews did to Christ - but for what they did to Russians, Poles and Germans.

Your article is just one more knee-jerk reaction to the likes of characters like Foxman.  If you keep talking about anti-Jewish bigotry, people like Foxman just love it; the fact is that if you keep talking about it, people actually believe that it exists.  Facts do not matter to people like Foxman.  The Foxman’s of modern time will tell you that St. John’s gospel is anti-semetic; maybe Foxman will deny this, but there are a host of Jewish voices raised against St. John’s gospel.

But let’s talk about something that is never addressed by brainwashed “journalists”.  You talk about how non-Jews are not as well off socio-economically.  You can’t really believe that.  As a group Jews may have a disproportionate amount of money, but that money is not evenly distributed among all Jews in the group.  Believe it or not, and contrary to the propaganda, there are too many Jews who live in poverty, and too many live on the lower rungs of the socio-economic ladder.  When writers like you bite on the bait tossed out by guys like Foxman, Foxman wins.  A popular TV commericaial keeps saying “fifteen minutes can save you 15% of more"--GEICO is counting on the fact that if they repeat those words often enough the majority of listeners will believe it:  it’s the numbers that count, they don’t expect all listeners to believe, just enough listeners to make worth-while to pay for the advertisement.  If you don’t think that the professional fighters of defamatiion aren’t salesmen, think again.  And feel just a little bit sorry for those Jews who do live in poverty and on the margins of poverty.

White gentiles need to start looking out for their own interests.  We have every right to do so, and are foolish for not doing so.  Think about how life will be when there’s a non-white majority in this country.  If you need assistance in picturing this, study the situation in Zimbabwe.  If you think the transition to non-white rule is going to be “fair” or “lawful” think again. If Jews can look out for their brothers’ interests in another country (Israel), surly European Americans can look out for their own interests in America.

This conclusion is just Jew baiting for the purpose of creating a problem where non exists. 1st those who conducted the poll are propagandists who word the question so that the answers are blatantly anti Jewish. It morphs Israeli, Jews, Zionists, non Zionists, all into a catch all word Jews which in itself is inflammatory. Anyone who criticizes Israel is branded as anti Jewish, not anti Semite because Arabs are Semites also.
