I wonder why we scowl when comments are made like these: “The textbooks include a footnote saying that the Jews who observe the Sabbath are the monkeys and the Christians are the pigs. “ But we don’t mind calling the majority demographic in the USA by the name of an insect, namely, wasps? There doesn’t seem to be consistency in using animal & insect names. Why are monkeys and pigs bad names, but wasps a good name?

Much of what you say has a gain or kernel of truth to it, though it’s exaggerated.  Not so much divide and CONQUER as dilute and defang – at least that’s how they tend to look at it themselves. 

Jews don’t own all the MSM.  But actually their influence and more or less veto power over anything that substantial numbers of networking Jews there get worked up about is nonetheless real.  It works by their often being 25% or more of the journalists at elite and many other MSM outlets.  Though rarely that sort of percentage in front of the camera.  Someone widely marked among them as saying arguably to them “anti-Semitic” or “racist” things more than a time or two is in deep trouble for his job, and often simple and measured telling of the truth with facts behind it is regarded as those things, if anyone could “take it” the “wrong way” or if motives look to them to be suspect.  Consider the purges at National Review of Sullivan and others a few years back.  Usually there’s some allowance for minor crossings of their lines a time or two but then probation sets in and further offenses can and often do result in concerted campaigns against a journalist’s continued employment in much of the MSM.  Political correctness, with many liberals and favored minorities ready to be allies, is the enforcer.  The bar for saying taboo things has tended to be set lower and lower through the seventies through the nineties, with perhaps some recent leveling off or even a “slight” rollback.  But nothing very refreshing, for the most part.  Except on the Internet, thank god.

Yeah many people now poke fun at political correctness, but the enforcement power of it’s great clubs, being branded as “racist” or “anti-Semitic” even for reasonable argued truth telling if it’s thought offense with a very delicate meter, remains.

As well Jews had some legitimate and very understandable reasons to be alarmed some 100 years back when this big effort for making immigration restrictionism more or less morally taboo as “racist” more or less began in America. 

Recall that there were massive Klu Kux Klan marches including on Washington D.C. in 1924 in solidarity with passing the immigration restrictionist legislation of that year.  The Klan of course hated Jews and to a lesser extent Catholics and wanted to stop all further immigration of both, and to marginalize any exercise of power or influence of those groups.  That legislation had also been something it’s supporters, who certainly weren’t all or primarily Klansmen but a great many of whom were Southern racial bigots and segregationist, had been pushing for for years, with limited success until then, primarily because of opposition by Northern Industrialist, but also due to Catholic and Jewish pressure, and alliance with other liberals. 

It was the political and other power of Southern whites, and such Northern places as Indiana where the Klan was also popular, that Jews most feared and most detested.  They did indeed want to thwart any further rise of popular brownshirt or Jackboot movements there (well before the rise of the Nazis who proved truly apocalyptic for the Jews), and to eventually beat back segregation.  They saw potential mortal peril and certainly a risk of themselves becoming second class citizens as they had been for so long in Christian Europe (at least in some ways and places, and always in peril until the French Revolution).

With enemies and groups of concern such as that, it’s hardly any wonder that Jewish groups sought to divide their opponents and reach out to allies, primarily Catholics but also white liberals, who were also alarmed and disgusted by such groups.  It’s hardly a surprise that their efforts met widespread sympathy and support in many Northern quarters.

However like much else once they had thoroughly beaten this foe and prevailed by the mid Sixties with the passage of civil rights laws, the hounding and vast diminishment in popularity of the Klan, and a national revulsion against bigotry, they overreached by pushing for nearly wide open borders in the 1965 immigration act and the encouragement of third world immigration with any consideration of the differential contributions of different ethnic groups or their ability or desire to assimilate relatively quickly, completely verboten as “racist”. 

In fact pushing for assimilation was quickly widely denounced as “racist” by liberal groups with Jews as usual leading the way.  Hence was born “multiculturalism”, with Jews leading by making great efforts to shame others into adopting it as a belief system – with remarkably quick success.

Again they had many allies.  But ask yourself this.  Now that Jews have for some time ceased to have a unified front politically on many issues, how many Jews of whatever political stripe, liberal, leftist, not very political or Neo-con Jews, do not take the relatively anti-restrictionist, pro widespread immigration and lienient enforcement, side of such political debates? 

The only glimmering of a change of heart on this nearly universal Jewish lining up on one side and rallying and ever threatening with crises of “racism” any waivering allies or outspoken opponents (such as Pat Buchanan) is their fear of too many Muslims especially of the threatening variety.  But that still hasn’t taken them very far and it’s mostly in the form of tighter Muslim only or focused background checks.

Taki observed:  “Any criticism of Islam is compared to Nazi Germany’s treatment of the Jews.” Any such comparison is ahistorical nonsense, for a host of reasons, including, a.  Jews had lived in Germany since it was part of the Roman Empire; b.  The Jews of 19th and 20th century Germany were for the most part deeply assimilationist and patriotic, including many among them who fought for Germany in the Great War, and c.  Even the most devoutly Orthodox Jews of Germany were not preaching any “Anti-Western sermons”, for the obvious reason that their people were among the founders of Western civilistaion, in contrast to Islam which for most of history has been an openly declared enemy of it.

I’m Muslim but thankfully not a Saudi or even an Arab for that matter. The Saudis are a bloody disgrace and embarrassment, how can this Saudi funded school operate in the West but yet criticize and condemn the West in such vulgar terms. Radical Islamists who live in the West are hypocrites and cretins, and are a sick joke. 

Taki, the Saudis don’t just fund terror against the West but also against other Muslims who don’t subscribe to their Whabbi cult! From Afghanistan, Palestine, Somalia, Indonesia, Pakistan and Chechnya, Islam has now become synonymous with the most grotesque excess of Whabbism.

Wow, it is truly refreshing to hear the truth from this source. The Saudi Arabian government is a human plague. Their form of religion is nothing but a pre-historic culture of death.

Recently the Iraq War was put to me from a new perspective: it is a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia. We, the United States of America under the current administration, are no longer acting independently. We are now heroin addicts for oil acting as mercenaries for a human plague that openly, shamelessly and willfully seeks to uproot and ruin the Western way of life in order to spread the Salafist way.

Saudi Arabia is the true enemy. If an American politician had any sort of forward vision they would push alternative fuel sources so that we could eventually disengage from these Saudi scum and let them collapse back into their useless sandpit of a country.

Regarding American Jews and immigration: I think you will find more and more American Jews today against unlimited unskilled immigration to America, for the simple reason that it is bad for our country. Count me as one of them (although I am in favor of more legal immigration of the highly skilled). More Jewish commentators—e.g., Mickey Kaus, Robert Samuelson, Charles Krauthammer, etc.—have pointed out the problems with President Bush’s amnesty plan.

My late father, who was a legal immigrant to this country from Poland, via Germany—and a lifelong Democrat—was also against amnesty for illegals. sure.  Whereas our Prophet had been given that opportunity

How come the Taliban do not follow the Prophet?  How come
the Saudis do not follow that path of toleration which
caused Islam to take root every where.  Intoleration is
