The term “financial security” is usually used to describe economic well being. The term “national security” is used to describe foreign policy or domestic protection. But what if actions taken in the name of “financial security” actually weakened our economic well being? What if actions taken in the name of “national security” actually hurt the nation’s security? In his first 100 days, Barack Obama and his Democratic Party have probably done more economic damage to this country than any other administration in history, all in the name of “financial security.” With the invasion and occupation of Iraq, George W. Bush and his Republican Party probably did more to damage American safety, both home and abroad, than any other administration in history, all in the name of “national security.” On occasion, these two parties work in tandem to destroy both our economic and national securities. They call this “bipartisanship.”
