It goes to show one can't be a friend to Israel; one must either be a slave who puppets the ultra-Zionist party line at every turn, or the Israeli lobby will hate and despise you forever, and do everything they can to smear you as ideological next-of-kin to Heinrich Himmler, irrespective of how many good turns (Camp David Accords, anyone?) one has sincerely done them in the past.
