Accusations of racism and anti-Semitism have lost much of their power to intimidate; growing numbers of Americans are aware of the scam behind bigotry charges. But political correctness has another facet to its virulence: ego. It allows any dolt to feel morally superior to his neighbor – merely by parroting the hypocritical nonsense of lefty hyperbole. Groups like the ADL and the SPLC play this con incessantly, then rattle their dotty donors with scare stories about phantom Brown Shirts, and puff them up with perverse flattery detailing how their gentile foes envy them and are fascinated by their… their… nose jobs? Perhaps the fact that most white gentiles AREN’T obsessed with them is the problem. How dare us! Don’t we know we’re in the presence of… of… guys wearing beanies? Asian Americans have done awfully well in this country, too. How come white people don’t drool over them? Well… maybe in the Asian press, we do. Ah… vanity. As for Jonah Goldberg – this guy has been savaging readers with his stupidity for some time. Can someone notify him that the issue isn’t about a “morally compelling” right to jam a flag in a chunk of land? It’s about NOT treating other people in the neighborhood like shower-wall scum. At least, if you do, don’t expect those other people to love you for it. And grant the rest of us a favor: When it all blows up in your face - no whining. And one final request, as a white gentile, to all my “Others”: Don’t tell me what I think! You’re not mind readers! If you were, you’d be pretty angry right now! If you want to know my opinions – about anything – ask me. I’m one of the few who’ll give you an honest response. But don’t presume to know my mind!
