When the Pope dispenses wisdom as Scott has shown here it should go directly to the Sunday Masses. It's not like Catholics can simply turn on the television or pick up a paper and read the words of the Pope. At the same time the priests and bishops are dropping the ball when it comes to encouraging Catholics to follow their faith by understanding the stance of the church on the crucial social issues.
