Peter, your assumption is flawed. You assume that "the empire" is the same as what the majority of Americans want. The Empire at work now in America is not concerned with what most Americans want or need. They do not care whether America functionally is gutted and left for dead. They are amassing huge wealth and that wealth will enable them to weather any storm of revolution or nation-destruction that may occur. I suggest you rethink your disagreement with the post by Unmitigated Audacity. He/she is pretty well on the mark.
