Just one argument I have - can't see why you call Alexander the Great "barbarian king" 1) He was Greek - Aristoteles was his teacher 2) Macedonia was just one of Greek Kingdoms - participating in olymbic games. 3) Barbarians at that time were defined as those who did not speak Greek, and I am sure Alexander was fluent in this language.
