Absurd! Does being English mean so little? If, as a White, I was to learn Chinese, move to China, gain Chinese citizenship (probably next to impossible), and then tell everyone who asked that I was "Chinese", they'd look at me as if I was nuts, and rightly so. Nations have heritages bound inextricably with specific demographic identities, also rightly so. When anyone can be anything, then everyone is nothing.
