America has recently invested great amounts of our own blood and treasure on the behalf of israel. Not only that, we're losing our good name and influence because of the association. We haven't gotten anything back in return. It's truly sad that America can't seem to look after her own interests anymore. A first good step is to understand that the US is not beholden to israel, which should be obvious, but apparently isn't for many so-called citizens. Kennan's diagnosis about the influence of 'ethnic lobbies' in his days has not been heeded, and those have now metastasized to permit the events that Mr. Foy notes. It's tragic how people who look after the best interests of America (not israel) are harangued as anti-American. It's not the first time that good republics rot from an infestation of parasites.
