I would make one correction though, namely that it was not "Austria" who suffered those casualties, but the "Habsburg Empire" during the Napoleonic wars, which became "Austria-Hungary" after the Compromise of 1867. I am an European who left the US, because I found much of the warmongering and arrogance (more precisely the mentality that the US has every right to its bloody interventions) repulsive. On the other hand websites like Taki Mag, antiwar.com, Lew Rockwell are American and excellent. I hope the line of thinking they represent will have influence on US politics. Sent at: 2008 11 21
