In my comment, I was simply making a lesser of four (or five if you think Huckabee is viable) evils argument regarding the remaining candidates in the race when you exclude Dr. Paul. I would be the first to admit that Obama is not someone at this point to get excited about. But when you compare him to McCain, Romney, Huckabee, or Clinton, I would say he is the most likely to extract us from old wars and the least likely to get us involved in new ones. For this reason alone, he is worthy of support when you compare him to McCain, Romney, Huckabee, or Clinton. And I do think he is the most likely to cut back on the warfare state when you compare him to the above candidates. Sent at: 2008 10 11
