There is no Conservative Party; the average American Republican is about as "conservative" as the Orleanists and Republicans of the 3rd French Republic. Face it, fellow conservatives here at takimag.com, we live in a Permanent Revolution, and conservatism has never been the dominant political ideology, and never will. If you are a conservative in America, it is a small club, and we will never have any real representation in the government, as long as that government relies on the power of the ballot box.
