It was never a real political force to be reckoned with, and was so much as brushed aside by Hitler in his singular meeting with the Bund's leader (I can't recall his name). After the outbreak of WW2, the Bund's membership (wonder of wonders) dropped sharply and most of its leadership interned as security risks.
