My point was that the Catholic church has a great deal of blood on it's hands, as it has executed thousands, if not millions of heretics. If you choose to justify the Catholic bloodshed by appealing to Plato, comparing it to Protestant and Jewish injustices, and citing historians who are the Church-History equivalents of Holocaust deniers, I don't think that there is enough common ground between us to make continued discussion profitable.
