The Serbs do indeed bear grudges against "Catholic" Croats who slaughtered them in multiple wars and ware indeed upset with the Vatican for venerating the Croat bishop-murder Stepinac. As for the Church as a whole, Serbian clerics and laymen have faithfully worked towards some meaningful reconciliation. If the Catholic world actively conspires against them, it will be Catholics and not Orthodox who bring about disintegration of Christendom because neither one of the two can lead a trully vibrant and resurgent Christian Europe alone.
