Mr. Cundiff is a highly intelligent and well-educated man but he is hopelessly romantic when it comes to those in the schism. Back in the day after Mons. Lefevbre signed the Protocol with Rome, his Lieutenants read him the riot act and so he quickly reneged on his word. Something similar would happen were Fr. Fellay try to reconcile with Rome. Can you try and explain that to Mr. Cundiff? I'll just note Pope Benedict has NO desire to reconcile with those like yourself. Anyone who thinks he does is flat-out crazy. Y'all must repent first.
