It is not wise to take needy people into our homes, maily because we may not be able to handle them. They might be delusional, or prone to violence, or have a contagious disease and we may not have the sanitary facilities to handle it. We may not be able to give them the time they need, either. But a religious order has worked out those problems, and can do what is needed. It behooves us to help them do the job, either by donations, or by donating some of our time, either of them will be welcome. Sent at: 2008 09 08
