As I see it, the immigration issue is about saving the country; the abortion issue is about whether the country is worth saving. A decent statesman needs to worry about both questions. However, the two work in tandem insofar as most of the immigrants we admit will vote for the Left for at LEAST two generations --which means that open borders equal open abortion clinics.
