The PB you read in his books and American Conservative is not close to the PB seen and heard on his MSM performances. The MSM Buchanan is a neutered version of a conservative, apparently warned against proselytizing toward the paleoconservative cause, yet strangely, he is seldom heard to utter a disparaging word against the neocons that he so devoutly criticizes in print. Buchanan is not the first and will surely not be the last to succumb to the lucre of the Beltway, but for a guy reputedly pretty tough in real life, it is a singular disappointment to witness. Where, oh where is the PB found on the pages of the American Conservative and the old days on Crossfire?
