Your praise seems faint and backhanded. Your dispute seems to be with those WFB allowed to take over NR. Your recitation of others' complaints seems petty. Did he ever act inappropriatley toward you? In his dealings with you, he comes across as a gentleman. You may have disagreed with him, or been disappointed in his choices, but do you require all men to agree with you on all things? To behave as you deem best at all times? Certainly there will be time, and places, for such a discussion. In fact, that discussion would be welcomed, and might be productive. However, for my part I find it diststeful for so many to be tramping on the grave of a man so soon after his passing and while his family still grieves. Perhaps I simply hold him in higher regard than others, based on the my enjoyment of his books, and Christo's, and my respect for a man who, at one time, gave life to a moribund conservative movement.
