Republicans have been doing "bait and switch" on the subject of abortion for ages now. They keep promising it, and promising it, but never deliver it. They just hold it as a carrot in front of us to keep us pulling the plow for their projects. Now, we need to put them on notice that we are not jackasses, and that our anger can have serious consequences for them. Let them know that promises are no longer good enough. If the Democrats are more sympathetic, then we may switch, if not, sit on our hands, but we will not be playing the fools any more. In politics it is deadly to go around with a sign that says "Rip me off, I enjoy it.", which is what we have been doing. Sent at: 2008 09 08
