The point is that the Irish were Celts that were not Romanized. They were pushed around, first by Romans & then by Huns....moving West. Please never stop understanding Europe as the Western-most point of ASIA...an Asiatic peninsula, if you will. Asia was always about the "herd" and still is(so is Europe & America...and the fellah from Regensberg knows it...too, too well)....The Mediterranean Basin is Asiatic, Oriental...Jews are Asiatic, Oriental....but so are Slavs & Tuetons. In fact, the Jews "divined" the messiah to make them "King of Asia". A Better Alexander.....But then so did Germans & Russians & Franks & Americans & Spainards etc. German Idealism is as self-proclaimed an Asiatic event as ever took place in HUMAN HISTORY. The Bulk of your American History is under the spell of Germany not England...and the same goes for England, bye the bye. The entirety of English Philosophy is an explanation & justification for "hedonism". The Nazarene, for obvious reasons, didn't cut it anywhere, much less north of the Alps. The Celts saw life as "is created". Everyone else saw it as "was created". To me, that explains everything you & I need to know. The Hindus identified the individual soul...but only for purposes of materialistic "suffering". The Greeks picked up on that...but only to the point of materialistic "blending". It was the Nazarene that took all of that "synthesis" and spilled it upside down & inside out...He put them all on their unsuspecting asses. After He, there was a HUMAN SOUL.... united to the caring heart of the Father. The Sermon on the Mount is not about stomachs or "homo economus" gone socialpolitik. It is about the individual soul attached to the Heart of Creation. The difference between Jews & Catholics is SERIOUS... Catholics believe in an individual soul. Jews believe in a collective soul.-BIG DIFFERENCE- Catholics believe in "Faith"... in the Supernatural Union...Jews & Greeks believe in Time & Space, the Temporal Majesty-BIG DIFFERENCE-Catholics believe in a lovin' merciful God....Jews believe in a punishing, Justice in your face God....and of course the Greeks believed in Heidegger's god.....antagonistic & indifferent....It is what it is Andrew...but it is not for us to lose FAITH...over it....that would be the wrong move.
