But if we want to tell the truth, it is Stalin and his Bolshevics that defeated the Third Reich and not "we", as Richard Spencer seems to believe. All the great multimillion soldier battles were waged in the East, hardly any in the West. Another sad truth is that Eastern Europeans would have prefered to stay under the Germans if they knew what kind of liberation was in store for them. The general opinion in Europe was that the fighting quality of the U.S. Army was very poor compared to either German or Russian. In America the 'inconvinient truths' of any kind are proudly swept under the rug. That is why we dont learn easily about our limitations. Sent at: 2008 09 06
