Rothbard's effectiveness is inversely proportional to his arrogance, and reading him he is quite arrogant. He condemns socialists for their fatal conceit in thinking they could run something as complex as the economy which is a subset of society, yet he would pretend to exhaustively list the rules to run society. Or how the Revolutionary war should have been conducted - he clearly knows better than George Washington and the rest did how it should have been fought reading a recent excerpt on LRC.
