But I strongly reject his statement that they're voting as a reflex action against predominantly Protestant Republicans. I've lived all of my life among ethnics (Irish and others) and I can state without equivocation that I've never heard or detected any such sentiments. But I will happily admit that I've heard and detected plenty of sentiments directed against other groups in the racial/religious cauldron of Sodom & Gomorrah On the Hudson (aka, New York City).
