In regards to your points about Alan Scholl, I am always surprised at the number of authoritarian types who manage to sneak in among those of us who love liberty, and promote mutual decorum in our relations with others, but reserve our authoritarian impulses for the internal life and direct it to the salvation of our own souls, rather than trying to get other people’s bodies and minds to succumb to our will. <Sigh!> it was ever thus.
