That's a liberal argument - imposing a vision on the populace along with the attendant management required to oversee its fruition (and enforce conformity to it). Communists have the ultimate vision of the good, of course. In reality, societies don't have visions, they subvert them. Leave the people alone, give them their greatest freedom, and the good will surface naturally on its own - or not. That's the only place it can come from, in any case. Sent at: 2008 07 24
