By contrast American vodka, at least historically, has been graded on how much charcoal filtration it has had. The more the better, which says something about the quality of it to start with. Whether the latest American flavored vodkas are really any good or whether they are alcoholic kiddy drinks I cannot say. I'm a wino. Sent at: 2008 07 04
