Message: Entry: The Real Bastille Day Link: http://www.takimag.com/site/article/the_real_bastille_day#2400 Post contents: I am also with Mr. Meng. The American revolution was called "The Presbyterian War" for it was radical leveller Protestants that fomented it. Many of the FFofA were humanists as well as schooled in the Enlightenment that was essentially anti-Catholic, anti-hierarchical, occultist, kabbalist, etc. The Enlightenment was a rebellion against the Catholic Church and the Temporal Order. Many saw the American revolution as a continuation of Englands Great Revolution, the revolution of Cromwell that killed the king and disbanded the House of Lords. There is practically nothing "conservative" about the American revolution; it was a crime. England's Great Revolution, the American Revolution and the French Revolution are all interconnected and all three were evil. I would have been a loyalist that fought for King, Church, and country.
