More broadly, accepting that a certain percentage of citizens will fulfill the duties of a working class is consistent with a conservative and Christian concept of a stable human nature in contrast to the dishonest statements of men like McCain and Bush who imply that working class Americans are defective and lacking in "ambition" (i.e., contacts) and must be replaced by alien helots.
