Yet I'm afraid that you must live an awfully dour life if you believe that the definition of humor is "impulsive, childish behavior." In fact, much of the best humor requires both rather serious discipline and love for the object of the humor. But even impulse can be good, as long as the person giving in to the impulse is virtuous.
