I certainly have no problem with IQ tests as one way of determining individual competence in certain areas. But I suspect if the aggregate of IQ tests revealed significant racial imbalances that those who advocate the tests now would simply advocate dropping the tests and using race as a marker for IQ or over-all ability. And no, Mr. Gottfried was not advocating interuterine genetic testing, but this is the testing which is actually being done and it is being used to identify and wipe out large numbers of people pre-birth. We may expect much more of this testing and much more of this use in the future. Compared to this Satanic nightmare, IQ and academic placement tests are a triviality. Sent at: 2008 05 16
