Yes, Mr Cundiff is often extremely irritating to read but in this instance he has made some valid points which need to be considered seriously and without name-calling. While by no means as well-read on the subject of Lincoln as some of the responders clearly are, I have to readily admit that my sympathies lean more to the South in that horrible Civil War if for no other reason than that they, as a whole, acted much more honorably than the North.
