As a member of the James-Younger Gang and Quantrill Society historical groups, I applaud Mr. Coulombe's accurate insights. Like laws, history books are always written by the winners. Too bad he didn't include a reference to Gen. Order Number 11, one of the worst atrocities of the war directed at Confederate civilians and resulting in 10,000 or more deaths.
