Growing up nourished with the “liquid bread” of Germany, I do share your enthusiasm for beer. That is why I refuse to drink it ice cold from a frosted glass, which will kill any taste. And I hope that one day I will get my “Pils” served in a real glass designed for that beverage to bring out its full flavor. I noticed with gratitude though, that the offering of “beers with taste” in this country has vastly improved over the past years. And I’ll drink to that!
