I'm sorry but I feel no sympathy for a bunch of feudalistic plutocrats gamely fighting for their right to buy & sell people like cattle. If you feel the war was immoral or unneccesary, OK. But at least confront slavery as an issue. We should have let Hitler and Stalin alone to battle each other to exhaustion during WWII. Neither would be in any shape to dominate anyone, whoever the winner, as they were about evenly matched.
