A characteristic of a certain breed of clueless, upper-class American honkey is proving his progressive, open-minded credentials by haughtily dismissing the poorest and most politically vulnerable of his own racial/ethnic group, while hypocritically extolling virtues of others - as long as those "others" mind their place as content "noble savages" in the low-end of the social gravel pit.
