Societies that believe everyone is naturally equal are susceptible to delusions such as what Charles Murray called "educational romanticism". As Lawrence Auster has written, once natural differences are denied, what is left to explain why outcomes are unequal? Oppression, discrimination, Eurocentrism, "institutional racism", etc. People conclude that whites must be doing something horrible and that white civilization, being "oppressive", doesn't deserve to exist.
