There is another potential huge reason to vote McCain. He isn't going to make it to a second term and maybe won't make it through the first. In fact, he may not make it across the lawn of the White House after being sworn in. He is in is seventies and has health problems. Now, if McCain is forced to select a passable VP candidate, someone who is acceptable to conservatives even if he isn't perfect, then Vice President Passable would most likely become President Passable.
