Entry: The Threat Within Link: http://www.takimag.com/blogs/article/the_threat_within#2741 Post contents: well. mecca and most islamic institutions are run by sunnis not shias. so the oppurtunities for shias to harass wahabis are very scarce. and most shias I know do not have the ideological issues with other types of islam that sunni arabs have. the first muslims were arabs and most muslims are sunnis, so it's not hard to see why the big time terrorists and extremists generally fall in to those two catagories as well.
