Chuchill was a failure in his main goal to save the British Empire. He also had many other failures and crimes. He was never loved in my family which is one reason I agree with Pat. Another reason is because I have read many of his books and many about him and come to the same conclusions. His contemporay critics were right, in most cases, and Churchill was wrong.
