I've spent some of the best hours of my life out on the State Gamelands and fields in Pennsylvania with dogs. Right now I'm just a 'social member' of the local beagle club, which sponsors AHBA (American Hunting Basset Association) hunts on their grounds. Paul and I let our basset Murray run in a 'fun hunt' last fall, but 65 pound Murray wasn't really interested in chasing rabbits and ended up crawling into my lap at the club house much to the hilarity of the Old Timers.
