This is not possible in the context of 'same-sex'. Only a cheap imitation can be rendered. Statistics from countries that have decades of de facto same-sex marriage seem to show that the societal benefits of marriage also do not acrue to 'same-sex'. It fails both ways - as a personal intimate thing, and as a benefit to society. What's the point? (I have my suspicions.) Sent at: 2008 12 02
