For better or worse, voters across America have been voting in PARTY PRIMARIES and as such have to deal with PARTY RULES. The DNC had stripped Florida and Michigan of ALL their delegates, something Clinton herself went along with when she was "inevitable," until it was convenient not too. So for Obama to be given some delegates out of the process is just slightly righting a great wrong--namely, that anyone got any delegates out of those states at all. Jon Stewart offered a great mash-up of clips from late 2007 and before, of all these same MSMers criticized above, talking about how "inevitable" Clinton was and simply effusive in their praise for her. The media isn't primarily concerned with ideology, but with sensation. That's a problem, yes, but it's not the sinister vote-manipulation the author makes it out to be. Sent at: 2008 12 02
