My guess is that Germany would have used that as a springboard for the Slovakiaification of Poland (that is turned it into a slavic pro-German puppet state a la Tiso's Slovakia) if that was at all possible. Then, maybe sometime in the early forties, Germany would have gone after Soviet Russia, this time allied with the Polish army, and President Taft of the US (no third term for FDR if Europe is at peace in 1940 under this scenario) would declare US neutrality.
