If I don't defend you and your rights when they are violated (saying it's your business not mine), I may value my rights, but not rights as such. This is where I worry about many current "Libertarians" of the Anarchist wing - They write a lot about "property rights", but they don't seem to be willing to actually defend anything if it would be even slightly inconvenient. Perhaps this is one of the large splits between the conservatives here and libertarians - Much of the infrastructure which protects rights are collective - not individual, and not efficient (as in market), so one sees a foundation, the other a paradox.
