My point was you have to acknowledge white flight and admit that it was destructive of traditional communities and an easily foreseeable outcome of integration or you have to condemn it. I guess you do the latter. Would you have legally prohibited white flight in your effort to socially engineer integration? Assuming you're White, would you have sent your kids to a majority Black school where they were in the substantial minority? Forcing your kids into a social experiment that is not good for them seems the immoral act to me, but what do I know? I'm not Lord Tobias arbiter of all that is moral.
