My ancestors were colonists, settlors or pioneers. They were not immigrants. Probably most of the people I know can say the same thing. I have my doubts as to whether any even saw Ellis Island until the last generation or so. And those family members would have only seen it as a tourist. Sent at: 2008 12 01
